Why hello again crafty friends!

It’s been a quite a long time since I decided to take (what I thought would be) a short break from blogging to focus on my little family, and then *surprise* we found out we were expecting our 3rd little bundle of joy. As excited as we were, we unfortunately had quite a few scary issues with our little guy (mainly mama’s health, as he was good, just eager to get here), and so I made the hard decision to scale back my commitments to the bare necessities while I worked through the insanity that was 2017.

Looking back, we had actually had quite the year. In addition to having our son, we sold our first house, built a new one, moved into temporary housing in the meantime, and I also changed my full time job… all in the space of about 8 months! So given the chaos, my crafting adventures during this time were pretty much put on the back burner while we adjusted to our new normal.

Thankfully though, everyone is now here, healthy, and seems to be settling in, and this past month has finally given me the creative freedom to be able to dive back in and start crafting more regularly and blogging again.

Most of you I’ve kept up with over on my Instagram (my fave) so if you’ve seen me there, you’ll know I’ve still been sewing and crafting. Now though, I’m excited to get back into sharing some more of my processes and tutorials of things I’ve learned along the way. That being said, I’ve decided to make quite a few changes to my blog space, which I’ll be sharing over the next few weeks. Mainly just refocusing on the crafts I’m most passionate about (sewing and party crafts with my littles). I’ll also be sharing some fun freebies, so stay tuned!

I’m beyond delighted to be back, as crafting really is my happy place, and I’m so excited to see what the future of my blogging journey holds 🙂
